Who are we?
Our Mission
The project aims to promote active youth participation through youth work, focusing on developing the competence of youth professionals. It addresses the challenge of political disengagement among young people in Europe, who often prefer non-organizational structures and passive engagement via social media. The specific objectives include understanding the integration of politics into youth work, building the capacity of youth organizations in managing active citizenship initiatives, using innovative methods to stimulate youth participation, and enabling youth workers to run successful online campaigns.
The project targets both experienced and new youth professionals, aiming to empower them with practical tools, particularly focusing on storytelling and animation. It seeks to support the active participation of young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, with the goal of bringing about social change. End beneficiaries include young people, particularly those facing social, economic, or geographical obstacles. Partnerships with organizations working with diverse groups, such as people with disabilities, migrants, refugees, and those from rural or economically disadvantaged backgrounds, enhance the project’s reach and impact.
The project acknowledges the changing landscape of youth engagement, emphasizing the importance of modern methods like online petitions and social media campaigns. It aims to bridge the gap between traditional youth work methods and the preferences of modern young people, fostering a more engaging and inclusive approach. By training youth professionals in storytelling and animation, the project seeks to amplify youth voices and empower them to drive social and political change. Ultimately, it aims to strengthen the influence and recognition of youth work, both nationally and internationally.
